Coming up on February 13, 2023, we'll be experiencing a 3rd Quarter Moon in Scorpio
Here are the specifics of this particular 3rd quarter moon:
Moon: emotions, inner-self, intuitive focus
in
Scorpio: depth, transformation, death and rebirth, taboos, fears, resilience, subconscious, soul's worth
is in a seeming conflict of values with
Sun: outer-self, external focus, ego
in
Aquarius: society, groups, mentors and mentoring, the internet, friendships, science, innovation, the unexpected, unique and quirky
which looks like internal tension prodding us to integrate the lessons we want to take with us into the next moon cycle.
~
This is likely to result in feeling like your heart wants depth, transformation, or some time alone to process whatever deep emotions are trying to surface, even as your head is saying it's time to focus on socializing or looking at what other people are up to.
Spending time around water, doing some genealogical or ancestral work, and connecting with your Creator to ask for a clearer sense of the worth of your own Soul may be particularly supportive around this 3rd quarter moon.
Meditative Journaling Prompts for Scorpio 3rd Quarter Moon
If you need a refresher on how to do meditative journaling:
Meditative journaling is an exercise for accessing the subconscious mind and receiving answers from your own deep, inner knowing. It involves dropping into a relaxed, meditative state before responding to journaling prompts (which you can prepare for yourself, or you can use prompts someone else has created.)
My recommendation is that before you read any meditative journaling prompts, you take a few moments to focus on your breathing, closing your eyes if you’d like, doing whatever practice helps you drop into relaxation and the present moment.
Then, when you're ready, you read the first question and write down whatever comes to mind. No judgment, no editing as you go. Write down whatever comes to mind, regardless of whether it seems to make sense. Then repeat this process for all the questions. Write until you feel as though you have nothing left to write.
This exercise is a simple, yet effective way to access the power of your subconscious mind and use it for your own healing.
Through light and shadow,
Kayelee
