On May 19, 2023, we'll experience a Taurus New Moon.
Which means we've come once again full circle to a new lunation (aka lunar cycle). The beginning and the end of each moon cycle, new moons are a time for rest, introspection, intention, and releasing whatever you don't want to take with you into the next moon cycle.
With the sun and moon conjunct (ie close to the same degree and minute of the same Zodiac Sign--in this case, coming together at the exact same degree and minute), our inner and outer selves are coming into alignment and agreement to work together as one.
Since the sun and moon are in Taurus, the days around this new moon are a great time for you to curl up in a cozy blanket and/or do something that increases your sense of self-worth. Releasing false notions about your value. Working in the garden. Setting intentions for your money and a new budget. Surrounding yourself with beautiful things. Embracing all of your emotions as beautiful and valuable.
A few other ways to connect with Taurus energy:
Now, let's break down this Taurus New Moon further:
Sun: outer-self, external focus
in Taurus: material worth, self-esteem, stability, practicality, pleasure, personal finances and resources, sustaining and maintaining, groundedness
is working as one with
Moon: emotions, inner-self, intuitive focus
also in Taurus: material worth, self-esteem, stability, practicality, pleasure, personal finances and resources, sustaining and maintaining, groundedness
which looks like an opportunity to release what no longer serves you in how you approach your self-worth, finances, sensuality, and practicality. It’s also a chance to grow more connected with your own senses and more stable and grounded through the intentions you set at this time.
